Cement tanker truck crashes into field

(Baonghean.vn) - At 11pm on April 14, a cement tanker was running on National Highway 1A from Vinh to Hanoi when suddenly a car coming from the opposite direction shined its headlights directly, blinding the driver and causing the cement tanker to plunge into a rice field.

The accident occurred at km 399+250 (Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An). The driver, Nguyen Tien Hiep (born in 1982, residing in Do Luong town, Nghe An), vehicle with license plate number 37V-2407, was carrying a cement tank on the way back from a construction site. Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured.

Traffic police regulate traffic and clear the scene.

The accident happened at night, causing a long local traffic jam. Police from Team 1/5 of Nghe An Traffic Police Department promptly directed traffic flow and provided rescue. By 11:00 a.m. on April 15, the damaged vehicle was lifted from the scene.
