Paris is about to have a nude camping site

The Paris authorities are considering setting up a camping area dedicated to “nature lovers” and nudists.

This is one of a series of projects that Parisians are particularly interested in, including turning the Seine riverside route into a pedestrian zone.

The three sites being considered are the Bois de Boulogne, the Bois de Vincennes and the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. However, some city councillors have suggested that the public should be involved in the discussion and make their suggestions. Many hope that a small part of the banks of the Seine will be included in the list, or at least one of the city’s central parks.

Mayor Anne Hidalgo expressed her hope that these changes will bring a new beauty to the fashion capital, attracting more tourists.

France has long been considered a top destination for nudists, with more than 100 beaches and campsites catering to this group. Each year, these locations attract around 2 million international visitors, mainly from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, etc.

Councillors supporting the project want Paris to learn from the experiences of major cities around the world such as Barcelona, ​​Berlin, Munich ... in building nudist zones. Previously, the Piscine Roger Le Gall swimming pool was the only place visitors to Paris could bathe naked, but it was limited to only 3 days a week, after 9pm. This pool was not open during the summer.

In the near future, Paris will also have its first nude restaurant called Bunyadi. A few months ago, this restaurant completed the procedures to move its headquarters to France from London (UK).

Under current regulations, people who are naked or dressed indecently (swimsuits, micro bikinis, etc.) on the streets of Paris will face fines of up to $15,000 and one year in prison.
