Paris is about to have a nude camping spot

The Paris authorities are considering setting up a camping area dedicated to “nature” lovers and nudists.

This is one of a series of projects that Parisians are particularly interested in, including turning the Seine riverside route into a pedestrian zone.

The three sites being considered are the Bois de Boulogne, the Bois de Vincennes and the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. However, some city councillors believe that the public should be involved in the discussion and make their comments public. Many hope that a small part of the banks of the Seine will be included, or at least one of the city’s central parks.

Mayor Anne Hidalgo expressed hope that these changes will bring a new beauty to the fashion capital, attracting more tourists.

Previously, France was considered a top destination for nudists, with more than 100 beaches and campsites catering to this group. Each year, these locations attract about 2 million international visitors, mainly from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, etc.

Councillors supporting the project want Paris to learn from the experience of major cities around the world such as Barcelona, ​​Berlin, Munich... in building areas for nudists. Previously, Piscine Roger Le Gall was the only place where tourists in Paris could swim naked, but the time was limited to only 3 days a week, after 9pm. This pool was not open during the summer.

In the near future, Paris will also have its first nude restaurant named Bunyadi. A few months ago, this restaurant completed the procedures to move its headquarters to France from London (UK).

Under current regulations, people who are naked or dress indecently (swimsuits, micro bikinis...) on the streets of Paris will face fines of up to $15,000 and one year in prison.
