Assessing how the car market will be at the end of the year, car experts say it is difficult to predict because this depends on Circular 20, but so far the fate of this Circular has not been decided so businesses do not have any specific plans.
However, with two auto shows taking place at two ends of the country, the Vietnam Motor Show 2016, which just took place along with the Vietnam International Motorshow 2016 at the end of this month, it shows the heat of the market as businesses invest in booths, launching hundreds of car models from domestically assembled to imported, from popular to luxury to introduce to consumers nationwide.
This is also an opportunity for businesses to show off current and future new car technology, boasting about the breakthroughs of their car lines, especially under competitive pressure in different segments, some companies have discount policies to stimulate market demand, attracting customers to their side.
For example, on the eve of the recent Vietnam Auto Show, some companies have implemented incentive programs to reduce car prices or give away registration fees to customers who buy cars. Or, on the eve of the upcoming Vietnam International Auto Show 2016, the French company Renault in Vietnam has pioneered a program to reduce prices by up to 300 million VND for customers who buy cars... However, these stimulus solutions are only temporary, in the short term and consumers will benefit.
