In September 1576, the Grand Tutor of Tan Quoc Cong Nguyen Canh Hoan was captured and killed by the Mac army in Thang Long citadel. In 1602, his main temple was built in present-day Trang Son commune. In 1991, the temple was ranked as a National Cultural Relic. Through the ups and downs of history and time, the temple still retains its ancient red-roofed gate. |

Every year, there are many important holidays at this temple, but the biggest is still the death anniversary of the Grand Duke of Tan Nguyen Canh Hoan on the 15th day of the 9th lunar month every year. This is considered a festival for Nguyen Canh's descendants in particular and the people of Trang Son and Do Luong in general. |
