Contest - fair of beautiful buffaloes and cows in Tuong Duong district

(Baonghean.vn) In order to raise awareness and promote the movement of raising buffalo and cows for sale, making crossbred buffalo and cow breeding a movement, and at the same time creating conditions for farmers to meet, exchange experiences and knowledge on getting rich from raising buffalo and cows, on October 25, Tuong Duong district organized the 3rd Buffalo and Cow Competition - Fair. There were 60 buffalo and cows participating, selected from 15/18 communes and towns in the whole district.

The buffaloes and cows participating in the contest must meet the following standards: fat, healthy, capable of mating and reproduction, selected from the preliminary round in the commune or town. During 1 day, the buffaloes and cows participating in the contest will undergo rounds of weight, waist measurement, reproductive age calculation, plowing and pulling ability; the farming households will draw lots and give answers to questions, about knowledge related to buffalo and cow breeding techniques, bringing high economic efficiency.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 6 third prizes to the most beautiful buffaloes and cows at the contest.
