215th Tank Brigade inaugurated and handed over comrades' house

(Baonghean) - Responding to the campaign "The entire army builds 1,500 gratitude houses, comrade houses and comrade-love houses" to give to policy beneficiaries of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, this afternoon, October 4, at Hamlet 6, Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District (Nghe An), the 215th Tank Brigade of the Armored Corps held an inauguration ceremony and handed over the comrade house to the family of Lieutenant Tran Duc Linh, currently working at Brigade 215.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai - Deputy Political Commissar of the Armored Corps, along with many officers and soldiers of Brigade 215, and the family of comrade Tran Duc Linh.



Leaders of Brigade 215 cut the ribbon to inaugurate the house and gave gifts to Linh's family.

The house was completed after nearly 3 months of construction, with 3 rooms, 5 rooms with a usable area of ​​65m2, total cost of about 300 million VND, of which Brigade 215 supported 65 million VND, the rest was borrowed capital from the family and from the help of family and relatives. The help of officers and soldiers of Brigade 215 in supporting the cost of building the house is a great source of encouragement and support for Lieutenant Tran Duc Linh's family, helping the family to have conditions to rise up, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in performing well all their professional tasks in the unit.

It is known that from 2000 to now, Brigade 215 has raised more than 600 million VND to build the "Repaying gratitude" fund, supported the construction of 7 gratitude houses, 2 Great Solidarity houses and supported 3 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers for life. With this noble gesture, officers and soldiers of Tank Brigade 215 have contributed to further enhancing the fine tradition of the Vietnam People's Army "Loyal to the Party - Filial to the People".
