The 215th Tank Brigade inaugurated and handed over a house to a fellow soldier.
(Baonghean) - In response to the campaign "The entire army builds 1,500 houses of gratitude, houses for comrades, and houses of comradeship" for policy beneficiaries of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, this afternoon, October 4th, at Hamlet 6, Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An), the 215th Tank Brigade of the Armored Corps held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a house for comrades to the family of Lieutenant Tran Duc Linh, currently working at the 215th Brigade.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai - Deputy Political Commissar of the Armored Corps, along with a large number of officers and soldiers of Brigade 215, and the family of Comrade Tran Duc Linh.
Leaders of Brigade 215 cut the ribbon to inaugurate the house and presented gifts to Linh's family.
The house was completed after nearly 3 months of construction. It has 3 sections and 5 rooms with a usable area of 65 square meters, at a total cost of approximately 300 million VND. Of this amount, Brigade 215 contributed 65 million VND, with the remainder coming from family loans and assistance from relatives. The assistance from the officers and soldiers of Brigade 215 in supporting the construction of the house is a great source of encouragement and motivation for Lieutenant Tran Duc Linh's family, helping them to improve their living conditions, stabilize their lives, and focus on performing their professional duties well in the unit.
It is known that from 2000 to the present, Brigade 215 has raised over 600 million VND to build the "Gratitude and Repayment" fund, supporting the construction of 7 houses of gratitude, 2 houses of solidarity, and providing lifelong care for 3 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. With this noble gesture, the officers and soldiers of Tank Brigade 215 have contributed to further enhancing the fine tradition of the Vietnam People's Army: "Loyal to the Party - Devoted to the People".
