Stay young with pomegranate

Eating pomegranates or drinking pomegranate juice every day can help you stay young, thanks to the compounds in this fruit that help delay the aging process of DNA.

Pomegranates also help prevent heart disease, reduce stress and improve sex life. Scientists at the ProbelteBio Laboratory in Spain came to this conclusion after surveying 60 volunteers who were given pomegranate extract for a month, according to the Daily Mail (UK).



The researchers monitored the activity of chemicals in the body and compared them to the placebo group. The results showed that 8-Oxo-DG, which can damage cells, the brain, muscles, liver and kidneys, and cause skin aging, was significantly reduced in the group taking pomegranate extract.
