Eating pomegranates or drinking pomegranate juice every day can help you stay young longer, thanks to compounds in this fruit that help delay the aging process of DNA.

Pomegranates also help fight heart disease, reduce stress, and improve sex life. Scientists at the ProbelteBio Laboratory in Spain reached this conclusion after surveying 60 volunteers who were given pomegranate extract for a month, according to the Daily Mail (UK).



Experts monitored the activity of chemicals in the body and compared it to a placebo group. The results showed that 8-Oxo-DG, a substance that can damage cells, brain, muscle, liver, and kidney function, and cause skin aging, was significantly reduced in the group receiving pomegranate extract.
