Coordinated efforts in preventing and combating school violence.

School violence stems from various causes, and responsibility must be considered from multiple perspectives. Specifically for Do Luong district, in recent times, leadership has directed and implemented work on protecting and caring for children in general, and preventing and combating violence and abuse against children in particular, including the prevention and combating of school violence.

The district has directed the implementation of pilot projects on building child-friendly communes and wards in three communes, creating conditions for children to live and study in a safe and friendly environment, and then expanding the program throughout the district.

However, the prevention and control of violence and abuse against children, including school violence, still faces many challenges. Firstly, the dissemination of information, care, and protection of children is not consistent enough, and the roles and responsibilities of various sectors, levels, organizations, families, and schools in this area have not been fully utilized. The staff responsible for child welfare at the district and commune levels are not yet fully developed and meet the requirements. Furthermore, schools have not invested adequately in comprehensive life skills education for children.

To improve the effectiveness of preventing and combating violence and abuse against children, including school violence, and to contribute to the formation of good character in children, it is necessary to strengthen the leadership, guidance, and supervision of Party committees; the administration and management of the government; and the coordination among various sectors and localities.

Enhancing knowledge and skills in information gathering and processing, intervention, counseling, and support for children who have experienced violence for staff working in child protection and care in general, and youth and women's organizations, including parents...

In particular, attention should be paid to organizing training courses and life skills activities for teenagers. On the one hand, it is necessary to clearly recognize that the protection, care, and education of children is the responsibility of the entire society; therefore, all levels, sectors, socio-political organizations, schools, and families need to coordinate synchronously to gradually reduce school violence.
