In the same sewer there are always 3 different colors of water: black brown, opaque white and brick yellow. The smell of wastewater from this sewer has a very foul and pungent smell of chemicals.
The direct discharge of untreated wastewater here has caused fish to die and more than 17 hectares of rice fields and aquaculture ponds in Bau Dong field, Hung Dong commune have been abandoned for several years now.
Although the people and authorities of Hung Dong commune have repeatedly sent petitions to relevant agencies and authorities at all levels requesting early remedial measures to ensure the living environment and production land for farmers, they have not yet been completely resolved.
