(Baonghean.vn) - A sudden heavy rain that came down late this afternoon (May 25) caused the streets of Vinh City to be severely flooded. On many roads, many vehicles stalled and had to be pushed.

Heavy rain caused streets such as Duy Tan (Hung Phuc ward), Hong Bang, Ton That Tung,... to be heavily flooded. Many sections of the road were flooded, making traffic difficult. The floodwaters caused motorbikes to be flooded, causing the engines to stall and forcing them to be pushed in the heavy rain. Some vehicles had to turn around to find a way to avoid the flood.

On Duy Tan Street, although it is a large road, located in a new planning area, because of the poor drainage system, it floods whenever it rains. It is worth mentioning that this road runs through the Hoa Mi kindergarten area, many parents pick up and drop off their children by car, while the flooded road has caused traffic jams. Vehicles line up in long lines waiting to pass.

However, the rain was short-lived and the water receded shortly after.According toMr. Tang Van An - Head of Forecasting DepartmentThe North Central Hydrometeorological Forecasting Center said that there will continue to be showers and heavy rains during the weekend. Therefore, people need to know to plan their work.
