Comrade Le Kha Phieu visited Nghe An Newspaper

(Baonghean.vn) - During his visit to Nghe An province, this morning, June 30, Comrade Le Kha Phieu - Former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam visited and had a friendly talk with generations of cadres, reporters and staff of Nghe An Newspaper through the periods. Accompanying him were Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of departments and offices of the Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, comrade Le Kha Phieu came to burn incense to commemorate the late Revolutionary Veteran, Major General, Deputy Commander of Military Region IV - Tran Van An in Truong Thi ward - Vinh city, Nghe An.

Over the past 51 years, Nghe An Newspaper has always received special attention from the Party Committee, government and people of the province, and the trust of readers near and far. The cadres, reporters and employees of Nhan Dan Nghe An Newspaper, now Nghe An Newspaper, have shouldered and successfully fulfilled the mission of "The voice of the Party, government and people of Nghe An", becoming a local Party newspaper with a position in the region and nationwide.

From a black and white printed newspaper, published twice a week with a circulation of 2,000 copies/issue; an editorial office of only 9 people, in extremely simple and deprived conditions, up to now, the staff, reporters and employees of Nghe An Newspaper have reached 70 people, the young staff have received basic training, of which 95% have university degrees, 100% of the reporters have university degrees and 2 university and graduate degrees. The office is spacious and airy; equipment for publishing and basic operations is equipped with a closed system of modern production lines. Currently, Nghe An Newspaper is publishing 04 publications; the printed publications have a circulation of over 12,500 copies/issue and are printed in 4 colors; the electronic newspaper has more than 50,000 visits/day. With the results achieved, Nghe An Newspaper is considered one of the 5 best local Party newspapers in the country.

Talking intimately with generations of cadres, reporters and staff of Nghe An Newspaper, comrade Le Kha Phieu was delighted with the achievements that cadres, reporters and staff of Nghe An Newspaper through the generations have achieved. Throughout historical periods, Nghe An Newspaper has performed well its political tasks, promoted, praised and expanded advanced models, good people and good deeds, fought and criticized negative manifestations, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. He advised that the tasks of journalists are extremely heavy, journalists need to be steadfast in their political stance, cultivate moral qualities, constantly improve their knowledge, qualifications, expertise and professionalism, and stay close to real life. The former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam expressed his confidence in the team of generations of Nghe An Newspaper staff in constantly improving the quality of the newspaper's content and form.
