Ninh Binh is about to have a wildlife conservation park

The project to build the National Wildlife Conservation Park is being implemented under a Prime Minister’s decision approving the plan and forest development for the 2011-2020 period, the Ninh Binh provincial information portal reported. The Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee has directed the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to develop a detailed plan for the park.


The park will be located in Cuc Phuong, Phu Long and Ky Phu communes of Nho Quan district.


The project aims to help Ninh Binh become a center for the conservation of rare wildlife species typical of the country, Southeast Asia and the world. The wildlife conservation park will actively contribute to the conservation of rare animal gene sources and the natural forest ecosystem of Vietnam.Male, serving scientific research. Wild animals will live in the central area. After construction is completed, the park will operate as a joint stock company model, in which the state holds a controlling stake.


Construction of the park will begin in 2012 with a total cost of approximately VND7,634 billion.
