Nam Dan implements tasks for the 2012-2013 school year.

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, August 17th, the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dan district summarized the 2011-2012 school year and implemented tasks for the 2012-2013 school year.

During the 2011-2012 school year, Nam Dan district implemented the school network development plan approved by the Department of Education and Training, with 27 kindergartens; 26 primary schools; 21 junior high schools; and 5 high schools. Regarding educational quality, the district successfully implemented universal primary and junior high education, and 10 out of 24 communes and towns achieved universal kindergarten education for 5-year-old children.



Certificates of commendation were awarded to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results during the 2011-2012 school year.

Besides focusing on cultural education, schools have also paid great attention to the holistic education of students through extracurricular activities and the integration of life skills education, self-protection skills, and environmental protection; organizing folk games, English clubs, folk singing clubs, children's math clubs, "Ringing the Golden Bell" quiz, aerobics, etc. The district has 1 student who won first prize at the provincial level and a Gold Medal at the National Children's Math Olympiad, and 6 students who won provincial-level awards at the primary school level; 95 students who won provincial-level awards in the online English Olympiad at the primary and secondary school levels; 41 9th-grade students who achieved excellent student status at the provincial level, ranking 9th in the province; 51 12th-grade students who achieved excellent student status at the provincial level; 36 students who won awards at the provincial level in the Phu Dong Sports Festival and 4 students who won awards at the regional sports festival. The high school graduation rate reached 99.1%. During the school year, three more schools achieved national standards, bringing the total number of schools meeting the standards in the entire district to 37, accounting for 42%.

In the 2012-2013 academic year, the Nam Dan Education Department continued to focus on comprehensive reform, improving the quality of management staff and teachers; enhancing the quality of education, striving to complete all targets set for the academic year, and affirming stable educational development throughout the district.
