Born in 1994 in a family of 2 brothers, his father is an officer of the Que Phong District Cultural Center, his mother is a small trader in Kim Son town. Throughout his primary school years, Nguyen Thanh Que was always at the top of his class, an exemplary class monitor, gentle, hard-working, and was honored to be recognized as Uncle Ho's Good Child in the whole province. In junior high school, Que was a member of the district's excellent student team in Chemistry and Physics for many years at Kim Son Junior High School. As a class monitor and team leader, Que was always exemplary in all activities, always thinking of coming up with initiatives to build the Youth Union movement.

After finishing junior high school, Que asked her parents to go to Vinh to take the exam and passed the Chemistry class at Vinh University. Que threw herself into studying, studying in class, solving homework by herself, reading reference books, studying in groups with good friends to accumulate knowledge. The "sweet fruit" of that diligence and effort is that Que gradually asserted her position. In grade 11, Que was selected to be in the national team to train excellent students, but in the final "test", Que was eliminated. "Losing this game, set up another", Que diligently studied more, filling in the gap in knowledge with the determination that in year 12 she would be an official member of the national excellent student team. Que's outstanding efforts were rewarded when she became an official member and won third prize at the National Excellent Student Competition in 2012.

Passing the graduation exam with a score of 50.5, third prize in the national excellent student exam, Que was admitted directly to Hanoi University of Pharmacy. But with the dream of becoming an engineer in the field of automation and wanting to once again "assess" her knowledge, Que applied to Hanoi University of Science and Technology. When Que decided to take the university entrance exam, there was not much time left to review, more than a semester of studying for the national excellent student exam in Chemistry, two subjects Math and Physics were quite "missing". To make up for that missing knowledge, Que spent time reviewing university exam types from previous years, asking more friends, borrowing questions from specialized teachers to review and did not hesitate to "take classes" in other classes, studying with students from the next class. And in this year's university entrance exam, Que excellently won 28 points (Math 9, Physics: 9.75 and Chemistry 9.25), becoming the runner-up of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
