Quy Chau approves plan to organize Hang Bua Festival
(Baonghean)2013 is the 18th year that Quy Chau district organizes the Hang Bua Festival, a big festival of the Northwest region of Nghe An. The festival will be held for 3 days from January 20 to 22, opening on the morning of January 21, which is Saturday, March 2, 2013.
In this year's festival program, the Organizing Committee plans to add a contest of telling folk tales of the Thai people. Accordingly, the storyteller must tell a folk tale in poetry or song, accompanied by a dance team to make the storytelling lively and attractive. In addition, the contest of writing Thai characters has been expanded, folk games such as stilt walking, to mac le, throwing con, bamboo jumping, gongs, carving fields, Hang Bua beauty contest are still maintained, preserved and developed.
The District People's Committee has assigned members of the Organizing Committee to do a good job of promoting the image of the festival, preparing well the contents of the Ceremony and Festival, urgently coordinating with the province to complete the project of leveling the ground, building a new stage so that the festival can take place smoothly and successfully.
