(Baonghean)2013 is the 18th year that Quy Chau district organizes Hang Bua Festival, a big festival of the Northwest region of Nghe An. The festival will be held for 3 days from January 20 to 22, opening on the morning of January 21, that is, Saturday, March 2, 2013.

In this year's festival program, the Organizing Committee plans to add a contest of telling folk tales of the Thai people. Accordingly, the storyteller must tell the folk tale in poetry or songs, accompanied by a dance team to make the story more lively and attractive. In addition, the contest of writing Thai characters has been expanded, folk games such as stilt walking, playing the "to mac le", throwing con, bamboo jumping, gongs, carving fields, and Hang Bua beauty contest are still maintained, preserved and developed.

The District People's Committee has assigned members of the Organizing Committee to do a good job of propaganda and promotion of the festival's image, prepare well the contents of the Ceremony and Festival sections, and promptly coordinate with the province to complete the project of leveling the ground and building a new stage so that the festival can take place smoothly and successfully.
