Serbia: Crazy shooting, 13 people dead
The incident occurred this morning, April 9, in a village near the capital Belgrade. Serbian media reported that among the dead was a 2-year-old boy.
According to local officials, the perpetrator was identified as Ljubisa B., 60 years old, living in the village of Velika Ivanca, about 50km southeast of Belgrade.

Nada Macura, a spokeswoman for Belgrade Hospital, said Ljubisa B. shot dead six men, six women and a 2-year-old boy, all of whom were his relatives and neighbors.
After the murder, he intended to kill his wife and himself, but both survived and were seriously injured. Another person was also injured.
The motive for the horrific shooting is unknown, but according to Macura, Ljubisa B. does not appear to be a dangerous person and police are currently investigating.
Neighbors of Ljubisa B. said he was not a violent person and had never caused any scandal; he was behaving normally yesterday, April 8. They also said that one of the dead was his son.
