Juventus beat Palermo 1-0 to win their 31st Serie A title.
Arturo Vidal's penalty goal was the start of a celebration at Juventus, as it helped the Turin side defeat Palermo and officially win the 2012/13 Scudetto, their second consecutive title and 29th in history (31 if you include the two Scudettos from 2004/05 and 05/06 that were revoked due to the Calciopoli scandal).

Vidal helps Juve beat Palermo
Goal:Vidal (penalty, 59')
Red card:Pogba (83')
Antonio Conte's team had a poor performance but were fortunate to have dangerous shots on Buffon's goal before Vidal broke the deadlock after Massimo Donati was penalized in the penalty area for a shove from behind on Mirko Vucinic.
Just one point against Palermo would have secured Juventus's Scudetto in Turin for the second consecutive year, but victory was clearly the sole objective for the home team's players heading into the match. Juve pressed high from the opening minutes, with Lichtsteiner and Asamoah constantly pushing forward on the flanks, keeping Palermo's defense on high alert.
Despite having more possession, surprisingly, Juve created almost no truly clear chances in the first half. Paul Pogba's header, the star of the match, narrowly missed the target, was the Bianconeri's most notable moment in the first 45 minutes.

Juve even came close to conceding just five minutes into the second half if Miccoli's angled shot had been a little more accurate. In a game that offered no hope whatsoever, Juve suddenly received... a gift from Donati. Vucinic received the ball from Pogba inside the penalty area, with his back to the Palermo goal and showing no signs of posing a threat to the visitors' net. But Donati made a baffling decision by shoving Vucinic directly in the back, leaving the referee with no choice but to point to the penalty spot.
Vidal, who was tasked with taking the penalty, had little difficulty deceiving Palermo's goalkeeper Sorrentino.
With the goal, the pressure eased and Juventus played more freely. Vucinic nearly doubled the home team's lead in the 66th minute after a combination with Pogba. Unfortunately, the striker's shot was saved by Sorrentino.
The final highlight of the match was Pogba's red card for spitting at Santiago Garcia.
With a narrow victory over Palermo, Juventus now have 83 points after 35 rounds, 14 points more than second-placed Napoli – a gap that secures them the Serie A title three rounds early without needing to wait for the result of the Napoli vs. Inter match taking place early tomorrow morning.
