(Baonghean) -After only 2 months of implementing self-criticism and criticism according to Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, Nam Dan has made remarkable positive changes, some urgent tasks have yielded results. This is the result of a careful preparation process in the spirit of looking straight at the truth, being serious, open-minded, clearly identifying 5 urgent issues that need to be done immediately after the review and assigning specific responsibilities to each individual in charge of each field and area with a plan to overcome and repair...

Some issues that Nam Dan has implemented after the Review Conference in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee have been effective so far, such as: completing the repair of the damaged road section in front of Phan Boi Chau Memorial House; completing the procedures and preparing to start construction of the road to the District General Hospital, with a total investment of more than 5 billion VND. These are 2 road sections that people have reflected and petitioned for many years.

The pressing and prominent cases that have been of public concern for a long time are also being gradually resolved, for example, the land allocation for Ms. Nguyen Thi Van in Van Dien commune, which has lasted for nearly 10 years, has been completed; the site clearance has been directed for the investor to start the Nam Dan Centrer Trade Center Project... Regarding administrative reform, implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District People's Committee has specified the installation and completion of the equipment system to put the modern "one-stop" transaction center into operation; applying the M-office system in transferring and sending documents and papers from the district to the grassroots level and vice versa. Especially, it has raised the sense of responsibility and public ethics of the team of district-level officials and civil servants. Implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, cadres and civil servants from district to grassroots levels have been more strict, cultivated, trained in ethics and lifestyle to constantly improve leadership and direction capacity, innovate working methods and perspectives, especially in solving urgent arising problems, solving problems related to people and subordinates.



The service spirit of the staff and civil servants is better after the review.

At the Nam Dan Town Party Committee, the most obvious change after the review is focusing on solving environmental problems and administrative reform. Coming to Nam Dan Town at this time, everyone can see that along both sides of National Highway 46 passing through the town, there are no longer dirty garbage dumps, which spoil the beauty and have caused frustration for many tourists when coming or passing through. Entering the town headquarters, the one-stop transaction center is crowded with people coming to do transactions, what we feel is the satisfaction shown on every face.

Meeting Mr. Tran Thanh Luyen, Yen Khanh block, who came to do the procedures, he said: “In the past, when there was something to do at the commune headquarters, many people were not satisfied. The cadres often came late and left early, making people wait. The spirit and service attitude of the cadres were not dedicated and devoted, so the instructions and explanations to the people were not thorough, the people had to do it over and over again and go back many times to do it. Now, we people tell each other that it is like a miracle that has completely changed the manner and attitude of the town cadres, they are more polite, dedicated and responsible in contact with the people”. Comrade Ngo Quang Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Nam Dan Town, said: “Among the issues to be done immediately after the review, there are contents that need time to be resolved, but for any contents that can be done immediately, the Party Committee has focused on creating a change right after the review”.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee affirmed: "Based on the results of the review of the District Party Committee Standing Committee, after the review, all organizations have evaluated and reviewed themselves, identified key contents to put on the agenda, found causes and solutions. The working atmosphere is more open, sharing, understanding each other more; self-awareness with work is higher, consensus is better in carrying out political tasks".

In parallel with the above work, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has also reviewed the regulations, promptly supplemented the working regulations of the district Party Committee, regulations on cadre work, regulations on decentralization and cadre policies, in which clearly defined the scope and responsibilities of the collective, individuals of the Standing Committee and the head. The district also reviewed the work of planning, training, fostering, rotation and promotion of cadres to ensure strict procedures; linking cadre work with ideological work. Thanks to that, after the review, the rotation of 2 positions was discussed democratically and reached high consensus by the Standing Committee; the rotated cadres had a comfortable mindset and were assured of their work. The evaluation of cadres was also more substantial, ensuring objectivity, democracy and accuracy. Currently, the Standing Committee of the Nam Dan District Party Committee is preparing to accurately evaluate 10 years of implementing the cadre rotation project; from there, supplement, build and implement a new project. At the same time, direct agencies, departments, branches, unions, Party committees and organizations to organize reviews and complete on schedule.

The movements after the self-criticism and criticism review according to Resolution 4 of the Central Committee in Nam Dan district are just the first step. In the coming time, in addition to completing well the 5 tasks that need to be done immediately after the review, the Standing Committee of the Nam Dan District Party Committee will continue to overcome the limitations and shortcomings that were pointed out at the review conference of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on all 3 urgent issues of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, in order to create a strong change in the implementation of local political tasks and Party building work, making Nam Dan develop strongly, becoming a fairly good district.
