Diagnosing diseases through the lines on the hand

Russian scientists are researching a method of diagnosing diseases through the lines on the hands. The basis of this method is the scientific knowledge of dermatoglyphics.

According to scientists, fingerprints are formed in the womb of the fetus, in the fourth month of pregnancy, and never change. The only way to remove fingerprints is to peel off the skin from the finger. The founder of dermatoglyphics in Russia was the anthropologist Mikhail Volotsky. He proved that it is possible to classify people based on the patterns on their fingertips.

From there, the researchers collected data on the classifications and found that people with similar hand prints were more likely to suffer from the same diseases. The coincidence of three data on gender, disease characteristics, and age of the disease allowed to draw the conclusion that this person had the same disease as the patient in the database. Doctors from there had the opportunity to better determine the direction of treatment.

This is the method of disease diagnosis that scientists from the city of Rostov-on-Don, in southern Russia, are researching. They are looking for signs of different diseases, thereby determining which fingerprints will signal a specific disease.

They found fingerprints related to psoriasis, gastric ulcers and cirrhosis, children with Down syndrome and other congenital diseases. The group of scientists said that although it does not provide a complete diagnosis, this method helps doctors detect diseases early in the early stages./.
