The competition rate for top universities is relatively stable.

(Baonghean) -Hanoi University of Science and Technology, this year received 19,000 sets of applications, the school's target is 5,200 universities in 44 majors, divided into 7 major groups. Therefore, the expected "competition" ratio is about 1/3.6. Every year, the number of candidates taking the exam is about 65% compared to the number of registered candidates. The majors with the largest number of candidates taking the exam are group 1: Mechanics, mechatronics and refrigeration, group 2: Electricity - Electronics - IT - Mathematics and Information Technology.

This year, the University of Transport received 17,799 applications, with a target of 5,000 students, of which the main campus in Hanoi has a target of 3,500 students; and the second campus in Ho Chi Minh City has a target of 1,500 students. Thus, the expected competition rate to enter the school is 1/3.5.

Foreign Trade University, Northern region this year received 10,400 sets, the target is 2,500; Southern region received 3,500 sets, the target is 900. Thus, the "competition" ratio in the Northern region is expected to be about 1/4.16; the "competition" ratio in the Southern region is 1/3.88. The largest number of registration files is in the Economics sector, especially the Foreign Economics sector.

Banking Academy, the number of candidates applying for admission is 10,000, of which block A has 8,768 (the quota is 2,100), block D has 1,333 (the quota is 200). Compared to the school's quota, the expected "competition" ratio for block A is: 1/4.1, block D is: 1/6.6.

National Economics University, the total number of applications for admission to the school is 22,000, of which group A is 17,000 applications, group D is 5,000. The admission quota for this year is 4,500. The expected "competition" ratio is 1/4.8.

According to statistics from the Academy of Finance, this year, the total number of admission quotas is 3,350. The total number of applications for the exam: 13,203, of which, group A has 12,343 applications and group D1 has 860 quotas. Thus, the ratio of quota/number of applications: 1/3.9.

The Academy of Journalism and Communication received 7,850 applications (equivalent to 2011), of which block C had the largest number with 4,700 applications. The school's quota this year is 1,500. Thus, the expected "competition" ratio of the Academy this year is 1/5.2.

Compared to previous years, the competition rate in these schools is relatively stable, without major fluctuations.
