Stop minor bleeding from wounds using vegetables.

Commonly available vegetables such as perilla, mint, Polygonum multiflorum, scallions, and white radish can help stop bleeding quickly.
To be prepared in case of an unfortunate injury that causes bleeding, you can use one of the following simple remedies:

- Wash the mint leaves thoroughly, crush them, and apply the paste to the wound. This remedy can be used immediately after a snake bite, before taking the victim to the hospital.

- Wash a white radish (or turnip), crush it, and apply it to the wound. Alternatively, cut a radish in half, dip it in salt, and gently rub it on the bruise; it will help the blood clot dissolve quickly.

- Use one or all three types of leaves: thorny leaves (used for making cakes), betel leaves, and ink grass leaves. Grind them together with lime, roll into sticks, dry them, wrap them in paper, and place them near the stove. When injured, bruised, or bleeding, scrape a small amount of the decoction onto the wound with a knife and bandage it.

Perilla leaves can help stop bleeding.

- Using clean, crushed leaves of the Polygonum hydropiper plant as a poultice on bleeding wounds caused by cuts on the limbs is very effective.

- Chew young perilla leaves until finely mashed and apply to the wound to stop bleeding. Then, roast perilla leaves until crispy, grind them into a fine powder, and sprinkle it on the wound for faster healing.

- Take a handful of onions, including roots, stems, and leaves, roast them until cooked, then mash them and apply the paste to bruised and painful wounds caused by falls or blows. It is very effective.

- Chew or crush the core of a banana tree (either the seeded variety or the Cavendish variety) and apply it to the bleeding wound, then bandage it. This will stop the bleeding immediately.

Note: When preparing the above remedies, pay attention to the cleanliness of the utensils used for storing and grinding the herbs, and wash the herbs thoroughly. Ideally, after temporarily stopping the bleeding, if the condition is severe, the victim should be immediately taken to the nearest medical facility for treatment.
