Do Luong: Thai Son Commune hosts the 7th Sports and Physical Education Congress.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 19th, Thai Son commune, Do Luong district, solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 7th Sports Festival at the commune's central stadium.

This year's大会 (congress/tournament) features 648 athletes competing in 28 events across 6 sports: tug-of-war, volleyball, badminton, stick pushing, athletics, and football. At the opening ceremony, the elderly association performed the "Thuc Vu Kinh" exercise routine, the militia platoon demonstrated unarmed martial arts, and the students of Thai Son Primary School performed rhythmic gymnastics.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, events such as tug-of-war, volleyball, football, and badminton took place. The大会 attracted thousands of local people who came to cheer on the participants.

The 7th Sports Festival took place over three days, from June 19th to 21st, 2013. This was the first model festival for Do Luong district to gain experience and guide the organization of festivals in the remaining 32 communes and towns.
