Do Luong: Thai Son Commune, 7th Sports Congress

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 19, Thai Son commune - Do Luong district solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 7th Sports Congress at the commune's central stadium.

This congress was attended by 648 athletes competing in 28 events, 6 sports: tug of war, volleyball, badminton, pole pushing, athletics and soccer. At the opening ceremony, the seniors association performed the “thuc vu kinh” exercise, the militia and self-defense platoon performed unarmed martial arts and rhythmic gymnastics by students of Thai Son primary school.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, sports such as tug of war, volleyball, football, and badminton took place. The congress attracted thousands of people to participate and cheer.

The 7th Sports Congress took place over 3 days, from June 19 to 21, 2013. This was the first congress of Do Luong district to gain experience and organize and direct the congress in the remaining 32 communes and towns.
