(Baonghean.vn) -At an age when they should be eating and studying, the two sisters had to endure a tragic loss when their father – the family's breadwinner – unexpectedly passed away after a serious illness. Only their mother remained, with an unfinished house and a mountain of debt. But then,Just as the father had recovered from his illness, the mother also passed away in a traffic accident.
They lost their father and mother when the older sister was entering her third year at Hue University of Economics, and the younger sister had just graduated from high school.

The two sisters stand in front of their house.
This is the case of siblings Bui Thi Hoa (born in 1993), currently a student in the Auditing and Accounting department at Hue University of Economics, and her younger brother Bui Van Hieu (born in 1995), residing in Hamlet 11, Quynh Tam Commune, Quynh Luu District (Nghe An Province). Hoa recounted: "I was studying for exams when I received news that my mother had been in a traffic accident, so I took a bus home all night. Now that there's no one to support me or provide for my studies, I'll probably have to quit school to find a job to support my brother."
The traffic accident that occurred at 8:30 PM on August 10, 2013, at kilometer 15 + 150 on National Highway 48, in Quynh Chau commune, Quynh Luu district, tragically took away the beloved mother of these two children.
That day, a 7-seater car with license plate 37A 02347, driven by Nguyen Van Xo (born 1987, residing in Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district), was swerving erratically from the Yen Ly intersection when it crashed into a mother and daughter who owned a roadside tire repair shop, causing minor injuries (because they were able to run). The car then continued at a terrifying speed, hitting a woman riding a motorbike with license plate 37P6 1845 and throwing her onto the car's roof. It continued for another 500 meters before crashing into Bui Tuan Anh, who was riding a motorbike parked on the side of the road, causing serious injuries. Tuan Anh never imagined that the person who died on the car's roof before it hit him was his cousin's sister-in-law, Bui Thi Mai (born 1973), the mother of Hoa and Hieu.
The circumstances of these two orphaned sisters are truly heartbreaking. For Hoa to continue her remaining years of university, she desperately needs the attention and support of philanthropists and readers.
