Phát huy tiềm năng đất đai, du lịch, xóa đói giảm nghèo bền vững

(Baonghean.vn) - Ngày 28/5, đoàn công tác của tỉnh do đồng chí Hồ Đức Phớc – Bí thư Tỉnh ủy làm trưởng đoàn đã làm việc với Huyện ủy, Chính quyền huyện Con Cuông và đi thăm mô hình kinh tế, xây dựng NTM tại xã Yên Khê.

Cùng đi với đoàn có đồng chí Đinh Viết Hồng – Phó Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh, các đồng chí trong BTV Tỉnh ủy, trưởng các ban đảng của Tỉnh ủy, Ban Dân tộc tỉnh; lãnh đạo các sở, ngành: Kế hoạch và Đầu tư, NN và PTNT, Tài chính, Tài Nguyên – Môi trường, Nội vụ, Lao động – Thương binh và Xã hội và Bộ CHQS, Biên phòngtỉnh.

Trong năm 2013, huyện Con Cuông có 17/20 chỉ tiêu đạt và vượt kế hoạch. Tốc độ tăng trưởng kinh tế đạt hơn 7,6%. Tổng sản lượng lương thực đạt hơn 29 ngàn tấn. Thu ngân sách trên địa bàn đạt gần 16 tỷ đồng; huyện tạo việc làm cho 1000 lao động. Thu nhập bình quân đầu người của huyện đạt 15,5 triệu đồng; tỷ lệ hộ nghèo đến cuối năm 2013 giảm từ 37,83% xuống còn 36,53%. Quốc phòng an ninh được giữ vững. Về công tác xây dựng đảng, huyện Con Cuông có 64% tổ chức cơ sở đảng đạt TSVM, không có tổ chức cơ sở đảng yếu kém.

Tuy nhiên, trong thời gian qua, Con Cuông cũng bộc lộ một số tồn tại, hạn chế: Thực hiện chuyển đổi cơ cấu cây trồng còn chậm, năng suất cây trồng còn thấp. Mô hình phát triển kinh tế còn ít và chưa được nhân rộng. Công tác xây dựng xã chuẩn về y tế và thiết chế văn hóa còn chưa đạt kế hoạch; chậm giải quyết các vướng mắc liên quan đến dự án tái định cư tộc người Đan Lai...

At the meeting, Con Cuong district requested the province to allow the district to continue implementing the detailed plan to establish Con Cuong town; requested the province to allocate capital to speed up the progress of unfinished construction works so that they can be put into use soon; and allowed the district to establish a number of projects to develop production of tea, oranges, and raw material forests.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Ho Duc Phoc acknowledged the results that Con Cuong has achieved in various fields in the past time. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested: the district must introduce high-economic efficiency tree and animal varieties into production; develop the forestry industry associated with commodity production; find solutions to promote the potential of eco-tourism; focus on vocational training, create jobs for workers; mobilize social resources to improve people's lives, accelerate the pace of hunger eradication and poverty reduction;Review the targets of the Party Congress, find solutions to complete the targets that have not been achieved. The Provincial Party Secretary requested the staff and civil servants to improve their public ethics, properly implement Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Committee; strengthen administrative reform. Regarding the work of Party building, the district needs to promote the building of great solidarity, build a strong political system, and continue to effectively implement Resolution 4 of the Central Committee.
