The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has announced the Tet holiday and the exchange of weekly days off during the 2014 holidays.

Accordingly, on the occasion of Victory Day 4/30 and International Labor Day 5/1, civil servants and public employees will have a day off on Friday, 5/2/2014 and will work as a compensatory day on Saturday, 4/26/2013. That is, on this holiday, civil servants and public employees will have a day off from Wednesday, 4/30/2014 to Sunday, 5/4/2014. The total number of days off for this occasion will be 5 consecutive days.

For agencies and units that do not have a fixed two-day holiday schedule every Saturday and Sunday, the appropriate holiday schedule should be arranged based on the specific program and plan of the agency or unit.

According to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, consecutive days off will create favorable conditions for cadres, civil servants and public employees to travel, spend holidays with their families, and save on administrative and personal costs./.
