| The revolutionary songs of yesteryear, which encouraged the fighting spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers, resonate in peacetime. |
The heroic 571st Mobile Military Transport Division was a strategic transport division of the Truong Son Army Corps throughout the years of the war against the Americans. The division participated in almost all campaigns during the war against the US. Particularly in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, along with other units, the division made a significant contribution to the overall victory of the nation. In the historic final days of April, the motor units of the 571st Division mobilized hundreds of thousands of troops from various corps to attack directly into Saigon, capturing the Independence Palace, the General Staff Headquarters, Tan Son Nhat Airport, and the Saigon Special Zone Command... After the end of the war against the US, the officers and soldiers of the division continued to perform international duties in Laos and Cambodia until the day of complete victory.
