Thai army chief agrees to meet protest leaders again
The heads of Thailand's powerful military agreed on December 12 to meet with protest leaders aiming to oust Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
A statement from the armed forces released late on December 12 said the Thai Army had invited protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban to a conference on December 14 with the heads of the Thai army, navy and air force to “find a way out for the country.”
