(Baonghean.vn) -On April 24, a working delegation of the Ministry of Transport led by Comrade Dinh La Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Transport, made a field inspection trip to the project site of expanding National Highway 1A through Nghe An province.
Welcoming and working with the delegation on the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors.

According to the commitment with the Ministry of Transport, by April 15, 2014, Nghe An has 3/5 districts, cities and towns reaching the finish line in handing over the site for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A with a total length of 73.3 km/73.8 km, reaching 99.3%. By April 24, only 3 households in Quynh Van commune (Quynh Luu) and 14 households in some communes of Dien Chau district have not completed the site handover, but with the propaganda campaign and quick resolution of people's questions, it is expected that these households will also agree and hand over the site to ensure the construction units keep up with the progress. This result was achieved thanks to the participation of the entire political system at all levels, the consensus and support of people in the localities where the project passes through.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Dinh La Thang praised the drastic participation of the Party Committees, authorities, and mass organizations of Nghe An in propaganda and mobilization, which has created consensus among the people and quickly removed obstacles and problems. Up to now, Nghe An has basically completed the handover of the site for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A, which is a commendable achievement.
Earlier, on the same morning, Minister Dinh La Thang and provincial leaders attended and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the road surface reinforcement of Vinh bypass, part of the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A invested by CIENCO4. The completion of the repair of Vinh bypass will contribute to the socio-economic development of the Central provinces, and the synchronous exploitation of National Highway 1A Vinh-Ha Tinh.
