With superior tactics, Kuwait took the initiative right after the opening whistle. Less than 3 minutes into the match, Fonseca's players had penetrated Tajikistan's net. The goal came from a well-organized play and Hamad easily scored with a close-range tap-in.

Admittedly, Tajikistan played very hard against a stronger opponent. Mr. Shodiev's students also created significant scoring situations towards Kuwait's goal, but Tajikistan's strikers were quite unlucky in finishing, causing scoring opportunities to pass one by one.

Meanwhile, Kuwait showed great efficiency in their attacks. With simple but fast attacks, Fonseca's students scored 4 more goals against Tajikistan to win all 3 points on the first day of the match. The remaining goals of Kuwait were scored by Abdul (12') and Hamad himself scored another 4 goals (22', 39', 40').

At 7:00 p.m. on April 30, the Vietnam National Team will play the first match in Group A against the Iraq National Team at Phu Tho Stadium.
