Get comments on the Draft Law on Health Insurance

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of February 28, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a conference to contribute opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance (HI). Comrade Pham Van Tan - Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the conference.

Conference overview

At the conference, delegates contributed many ideas to supplement and complete the draft submitted to the National Assembly, focusing on the following issues: principles of health insurance; participants, contribution levels and responsibilities for paying health insurance, methods of paying health insurance; levels of health insurance benefits and non-benefits; payment for medical examination and treatment; management of the Health Insurance Fund; responsibilities of health insurance medical examination and treatment facilities; handling of violations.

In addition, many opinions were contributed to each specific provision, such as removing the regulation that family members buying health insurance must live in the same area; not guaranteeing 100% of medical examination and treatment costs for near-poor people to avoid abuse of health insurance; increasing the period of continuous health insurance participation from 3 years to 5 years to enjoy 100% of medical examination and treatment costs...

Concluding the conference, comrade Pham Van Tan acknowledged the opinions of the delegates. The provincial National Assembly Delegation will synthesize them to submit to the National Assembly in the upcoming session.
