(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of July 31, Deputy Minister of Transport Le Dinh Tho and a working group inspected the operation at the weighing station on National Highway 1A through Dien Chau district. Here, the working group cut and trimmed the "tiger" truck body originating from China.

Inspecting the operation at Mobile Weigh Station No. 15 in Dien An Commune, Dien Chau District, comrade Le Dinh Tho - Deputy Minister of Transport, leaders of the Vietnam Road Administration, the Registration Department and comrade Nguyen Hong Ky - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of Nghe An Department of Transport paid special attention to the operation of "tiger" vehicles originating from China. These are vehicles with extended, modified bodies and often violate oversize and overload regulations. Many people compare "tiger" vehicles to vehicles that destroy traffic routes and become a headache for the whole country.

At the mobile station, the working group inspected and discovered a series of "tiger" vehicles violating the load limit, changing the structure such as expanding and welding additional truck beds. In particular, when inspecting the truck with license plate 37C 03488, the traffic inspection force discovered that the truck bed had been expanded. According to the registration book, the truck bed was 1.5 meters high, the owner of the vehicle had pledged not to expand it, but on the morning of July 31, the inspection team discovered that the truck bed was 1.88 meters high. Immediately, Comrade Le Dinh Tho and Comrade Nguyen Hong Ky proposed to draw up a fine record, and at the same time cut off the expanded truck bed, resolutely handling the situation of "tiger" vehicles expanding and destroying the traffic roads.
