Vinh City People's Committee handles the issue raised by the newspaper

(Baonghean) - Nghe An Newspaper, issue dated September 30, 2014, in the column "Hotline Information", reported the reflection of the people of hamlets 6 and 7, Nghi Kim commune, Vinh City: For many years, hamlets 6 and 7, Nghi Kim commune have been polluted by the Dong Vinh landfill. The State has given people health insurance, toxic support, and production. In 2012, when the landfill was moved to Nghi Yen, all benefits were cut, while toxic residues still remained. The people hope that the authorities will consider the reality to both completely resolve the environmental pollution situation and continue to provide practical support for health care and production.

After reviewing the issue raised by the newspaper, on October 1, 2014, Vinh City People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 4766/UBND-VP with the following comments:

Assign the Head of the City Finance and Planning Department to inspect, review and clarify issues related to the content of the newspaper. At the same time, advise the City People's Committee on solutions according to regulations and respond to Nghe An Newspaper before October 15, 2014.

Propose that the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee in charge of urban areas direct relevant units to implement promptly and seriously.
