Kia Optima price reduction of nearly 100 million VND in Vietnam

Right before the Lunar New Year, Thaco Kia adjusted the retail price of the Optima D-class sedan to nearly 100 million VND lower than before.

Before the adjustment, Optima was sold on the market with a retail price of 1 billion VND.

Specifically, before the adjustment, Optima was sold on the market with a retail price of 1 billion VND, while the new price of Optima is 908 million VND.

In the Korean market, Optima is also known as K5. Optima is imported to Vietnam by Thaco Kia as a 3rd generation with a new design and many modern features.

The Kia Optima has a low body design that helps provide a solid ride. The car is equipped with many technologies such as automatic HID headlights that support changing the beam angle with integrated headlight washing function and LED daytime running system, 4 LED front fog lights or LED rear lights, UV-resistant glass, chrome-plated door handles and borders, electric rearview mirrors with integrated turn signals, etc.

The interior combines 2 materials: high-quality leather and natural wood. The driver's seat is covered with 10-way electric leather and has 2-position memory, the front passenger seat is 4-way electric, the multi-function leather steering wheel has integrated audio control buttons, sport shift paddles and hands-free mode.

A notable highlight in the interior compartment is the control center equipped with a multi-information display screen, connecting the entertainment system with the 8-speaker Infinity system with USB, AUX, Bluetooth ports. The car is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a smart door lock system with remote control and push-button start.

The “heart” of the Optima is the Nu 2.0L engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine block produces a maximum capacity of 164 horsepower and a maximum torque of 194 Nm.

The car's safety equipment is also quite complete with a system of 6 airbags, front and rear sensors and a rear camera, anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic balance (ESP) and Cruise Control automatic throttle system.
