Kia Optima sees price reduction of nearly 100 million VND in Vietnam.

Just before the Lunar New Year of the Goat, Thaco Kia adjusted the retail price of its D-segment sedan, the Optima, lowering it by nearly 100 million VND compared to before.

Before the price adjustment, the Optima was sold on the market at a retail price of 1 billion VND.

Specifically, before the adjustment, the Optima was sold on the market at a retail price of 1 billion VND, while the new price of the Optima is 908 million VND.

In the Korean market, the Optima is also known as the K5. The Optima, imported as a complete unit to Vietnam by Thaco Kia, is the third generation model with a new design and many modern features.

The Kia Optima features a low body design that provides a stable ride. It's equipped with numerous technologies such as automatic HID headlights with adaptive cornering and integrated headlight washers, LED daytime running lights, a quad-LED fog light cluster at the front, LED taillights, UV-resistant glass, chrome door handles and trim, and power-adjustable and folding rearview mirrors with integrated turn signals.

The interior combines two premium materials: leather and natural wood. The driver's seat is upholstered in leather, features 10-way power adjustment with 2-position memory, the front passenger seat is 4-way power adjustable, and the leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel integrates audio controls, paddle shifters, and hands-free calling.

A notable highlight in the interior is the center console featuring a multi-information display, connecting to an entertainment system with an 8-speaker Infinity sound system and USB, AUX, and Bluetooth connectivity. The car is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, smart keyless entry with remote control, and push-button start.

At the heart of the Optima is a 2.0L Nu engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers a maximum power of 164 horsepower and a maximum torque of 194 Nm.

The car is also quite well-equipped with safety features including a 6-airbag system, front and rear sensors and a rearview camera, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic stability control (ESP), and cruise control.
