On October 25th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Development Investment Joint Stock Company (Central Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Development Investment Joint Stock Company) organized a networking program titled "Bringing Vietnamese Goods to Ha Tinh and Consuming Products Produced in Ha Tinh".

This program is part of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee's plan to assign the Central Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Development Joint Stock Company to promote the use and consumption of goods and products manufactured in the province, contributing to the campaign encouraging Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, General Director of the Central Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Development Joint Stock Company, said that the company is currently building a modern trading system.

According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, General Director of the Central Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Development Joint Stock Company, in implementing the plan of Ha Tinh province, the company has invested in building and operating a model combining traditional markets, wholesale markets, and commercial centers. Currently, the traditional market and wholesale market have attracted thousands of small traders and tens of thousands of customers daily. Along with this development, the company is building a state-of-the-art wholesale system to supply goods to 173 markets in Ha Tinh province and the entire North Central region.

Mr. Tran Nhat Tan, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh province, delivered a speech at the networking program.

Mr. Tran Nhat Tan, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh province, said that currently, in the northern provinces, including Ha Tinh, there is an abundance of unlabeled Chinese goods without invoices or certificates of origin, distorting the market. To limit the situation of low-quality goods, in addition to strictly controlling the origin of goods entering markets, Ha Tinh also requires 100% of markets to display prices and sell at the listed prices. Connecting and bringing Vietnamese goods to Ha Tinh will limit the influx of unlabeled and low-quality Chinese goods. To achieve this, Ha Tinh is willing to spend money to invite businesses from Ho Chi Minh City and other major cities to learn about, connect with, and bring Vietnamese goods to Ha Tinh.

“Ha Tinh has 1.3 million inhabitants, and its population has increased rapidly in recent years by 300,000-500,000 people per year due to migration. In particular, the 40,000 foreign workers employed at the Formosa thermal power plant project are consuming a very large volume of consumer goods. These factors are creating many opportunities for Vietnamese manufacturing businesses,” Mr. Tan said.

Businesses have signed contracts to bring goods to Ha Tinh.

Ms. Le Ngoc Dao, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, stated that Ha Tinh is a new territory for manufacturing and distribution businesses in the South. Ho Chi Minh City is also aiming to build a central hub for goods in the North Central region. However, businesses participating in the distribution system need to have strong capital, product design, and quality.

At the conclusion of the networking program, five businesses in Ho Chi Minh City signed contracts with the Central Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Development Joint Stock Company to bring Vietnamese goods to Ha Tinh.
