Use Vietnamese products to limit Chinese products

On October 25, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Industry and Trade Development Investment Joint Stock Company (Central Industry and Trade Development Investment Joint Stock Company) organized a connection program "Bringing Vietnamese goods to Ha Tinh and consuming products manufactured in Ha Tinh".

This program is part of the Plan of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province on assigning the Central Industry and Trade Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to promote the use and consumption of goods and products produced in the province, contributing to the campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, General Director of Central Industry and Trade Investment Development Joint Stock Company, said that the company is building a modern trading system.

According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, General Director of the Central Industry and Trade Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, implementing the Plan of Ha Tinh province, the company has invested in building and putting into operation a model combining traditional markets, wholesale markets and commercial centers. Currently, traditional markets and wholesale markets have attracted thousands of small traders to do business and attract tens of thousands of customers to shop every day. Along with that development, the company is building the most modern wholesale system to supply goods to 173 markets in Ha Tinh and the entire North Central region.

To limit the situation of poor quality goods, in addition to strictly controlling the origin of goods entering the markets, Ha Tinh also requires 100% of the markets to list prices and sell at the listed prices. Connecting to bring Vietnamese goods to Ha Tinh will limit the number of Chinese goods floating around and of poor quality. To do this, Ha Tinh is willing to spend money to invite businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and other major cities to learn, connect to trade and bring Vietnamese goods to Ha Tinh.

“Ha Tinh has a population of 1.3 million, and its mechanical population has increased rapidly in recent years at a rate of 300,000-500,000 people/year. In particular, 40,000 foreign workers working at the Formosa thermal power project are consuming a huge amount of consumer goods. These factors are opening up many opportunities for businesses producing Vietnamese goods,” said Mr. Tan.

Businesses signed contracts to bring goods to Ha Tinh.

Ms. Le Ngoc Dao, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, said that Ha Tinh is a new land for manufacturing and distribution enterprises in the South. Ho Chi Minh City is also aiming to build a central hub of goods in the North Central region. However, when participating in bringing goods into the distribution system, enterprises need to have the strength in terms of capital, design and quality of goods.

At the end of the connection program, 5 enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City signed contracts with the Central Industry and Trade Development Investment Joint Stock Company to bring Vietnamese goods to Ha Tinh./.
