The emulation cluster of Road 7, including districts bordering the provinces of Laos (Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Anh Son and Thanh Chuong), has many socio-economic difficulties, especially the limited transportation system; people's lives are still difficult. Over the past year, on the basis of overcoming difficulties and exploiting advantages, each locality has launched many movements and emulation campaigns, such as "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh"; "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas"; economic development, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, preserving the cultural identity of ethnic groups, ensuring national defense and security.... In particular, the emulation movement to join hands to build new rural areas has created many changes in infrastructure, changing crop structure, creating many effective economic models, contributing to increasing income for people in the districts and effectively implementing the hunger eradication and poverty reduction work of the Party and State. In conjunction with organizing emulation movements, units in the cluster have also paid attention to innovating emulation and reward work; replicating many advanced models and new typical factors, contributing to encouraging and improving the quality of emulation movements.

At the conference, the units of the Road 7 emulation cluster pointed out a number of limitations and shortcomings, of which the emulation movements are of low quality and uneven, especially in the construction of new rural areas. On that basis, the units also clearly identified the key tasks in 2015, which is to focus on reviewing the targets and tasks of the entire 2010-2015 term to promote the implementation of targets and tasks that are close to being achieved. Focus on solving pressing problems among the people, resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens. Focus on innovating the emulation and reward work, ensuring the promotion of the emulation spirit in collectives and individuals.

Conference overview

At the conference, the units also agreed to honor and propose the Government to award the Emulation Flag to Con Cuong district and Thanh Linh commune (Thanh Chuong district) for their outstanding achievements in implementing emulation movements in 2014.
