Long holidays are carried out according to the regulations on exchanging holidays during the year.
Accordingly, the subjects entitled to take leave according to this swap schedule include cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of administrative agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations (hereinafter referred to as civil servants and public employees).
Specifically, employees will work on Saturday (April 25, 2015) to have Wednesday (April 29, 2015) off. April 26 is a normal weekly day off. Employees will work as usual on April 27.
Thus, the April 30, 2015 holiday schedule for civil servants and public employees will be 6 consecutive days, from April 28 to May 3, 2015.
For units and agencies that do not have a fixed two-day holiday schedule every Saturday and Sunday, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs requires units to base on their specific plans to arrange appropriate holidays.
Previously, at the November Regular Meeting, the Government agreed in principle to the Proposal of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on the Lunar New Year holiday and the exchange of weekly holidays during the 2015 holidays.
