(Baonghean.vn) - Quynh Luu is a locality with a relatively large salt production area in Nghe An province, mainly concentrated in the communes of An Hoa, Quynh Thuan, Quynh Tho, Quynh Nghia… To ensure productivity and output for the 2015 salt season, salt farmers in Quynh Luu are currently actively repairing and renovating their salt ponds to enter the main production season with high determination.

On the morning of the 6th day of the Lunar New Year, people in the salt-making areas began repairing and renovating the salt-filtering ponds. This work had started before the New Year and is now completing the remaining steps such as preparing the ponds, excavating soil, leveling the ground, flooding the ponds with water, and applying charcoal. Localities with large salt production areas, such as An Hoa and Quynh Thuan, are also focusing on rapidly increasing the area of ​​salt production using new processes in 2015.
