Quynh Luu salt farmers prepare to enter salt production season

(Baonghean.vn) - Quynh Luu is a locality with a relatively large salt production area in Nghe An province, mainly concentrated in the communes of An Hoa, Quynh Thuan, Quynh Tho, Quynh Nghia... To ensure productivity and output for the 2015 salt crop, currently, salt farmers in localities with salt production areas in Quynh Luu are actively repairing and renovating the ponds to enter the main production season with high determination.

On the morning of the 6th day of Tet, people started repairing and renovating the salt pits. This work was carried out before Tet and is currently completing the remaining steps such as making the pits, digging the soil, spreading the foundation, flooding the pits and rubbing the coal. Localities with large salt areas such as An Hoa and Quynh Thuan are also focusing on rapidly increasing the salt production area according to the new process in 2015.
