Exclude foreign artifacts from the site.

The cultural sector will gradually remove foreign artifacts from historical sites nationwide - a representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just announced.

From now until July, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will carry out this work at historical sites in three provinces and cities: Hanoi, Nghe An, and Can Tho. The remaining provinces and cities will assess and compile reports to the Ministry, so that appropriate solutions can be developed.

The process of cataloging and evaluating artifacts at historical sites must involve researchers to determine the most appropriate course of action. Before being officially recognized, each site will have a list of artifacts, so foreign artifacts will be removed. Historical sites that receive donated artifacts that are inconsistent with Vietnamese culture, customs, and traditions must return them and are not permitted to display them.

In addition, the cultural sector will organize thematic exhibitions, providing the public with in-depth information about artifacts that embody the rich cultural identity of Vietnam.
