(Baonghean.vn) -To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22nd, on the afternoon of December 16th, a delegation of officials from Vientiane Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, led by Major General Xi Dua Lo – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Commander of the Vientiane Provincial Military Command, visited and congratulated the officials and workers of the Economic Cooperation Corporation of Military Region 4.

Congratulating the officers and workers of the Military Region's Economic Cooperation Corporation on the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, Major General Xi Dua Lo thanked the Corporation for its many contributions to helping the people of the Central Lao provinces in general, and Vientiane province in particular, in building strong village clusters; expanding economic projects, and creating jobs for workers.

On behalf of the Military Region Economic Cooperation Corporation, Colonel Nguyen Duy Hung - Deputy General Director - expressed gratitude to the government, people, and armed forces of Vientiane province for creating favorable conditions and providing assistance to help the Corporation successfully complete its assigned tasks in Laos in general and Vientiane province in particular, as directed by the 4th Military Region Command.

Also on this occasion, the Provincial Military Command presented gifts from the Special Task Force of Nghe An province to Vientiane province, expressing the hope that the two provinces of Nghe An and Vientiane will continue to have many effective cooperation activities in both socio-economic development and national defense and security. In particular, they hope for effective coordination in the task of searching for, excavating, and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who died on the battlefields of Laos in general and in Vientiane in particular.
