Vinamilk ranked 2nd in the Top 100 best places to work in Vietnam

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, in Ho Chi Minh City, Nielsen Market Research Company and Anphabe.com network conducted a survey of the 100 best workplaces in Vietnam in 2014. According to the results just announced, Vinamilk ranked 2nd in the Top 100 best workplaces in Vietnam and is the only Vietnamese company in the Top 10 best workplaces in Vietnam (the remaining companies in the Top 10 are foreign enterprises or joint ventures with foreign enterprises). It is known that this year, there are 20 Vietnamese enterprises in this list, an increase of 6 enterprises compared to 2013.

The Organizing Committee also announced the 6 most attractive employer brands according to each group of criteria, in which Vinamilk ranked first in two groups: the group of criteria Salary, Bonus, Welfare and the group of criteria Quality of Work and Life.

Vinamilk ranked first in two groups of Most Attractive Employer Brands: the Salary, Bonus, Benefits criteria group and the Quality of Work and Life criteria group.

The survey was conducted online from October 2014 to January 2015 with the participation of 15,578 respondents from 24 industries nationwide. The survey was based on 46 factors in 6 main criteria groups including: Salary, bonus, benefits; development opportunities; leadership team; culture and values; quality of work and life; company reputation. The new point of this year's survey is that businesses can measure the health of internal and external employer brands based on the opinions of employees and the opinions of talents and candidates. Regarding the career motivation trends of employees, the survey also identified talent segments in the Vietnamese labor market including: The group that explores challenges, the group that craves success, the group that pursues passion, the group that likes stability and the group that likes teammates.

The survey results show that, regardless of the talent group, employees all aim for three main career goals: work-life balance; having enough money to live comfortably and having a stable, secure job. Among them, salary, bonus, and benefits are still the most important factors. From that reality, in order to attract and retain talent, businesses need to offer comprehensive and specific benefits programs to meet the diverse expectations of employees.
