In April, Quynh Luu district directed people to take care of and prevent pests and diseases in the 2015 spring crop. Up to now, about 500 hectares of rice have flowered. Livestock development has been stable, with no outbreaks of disease. 33 communes and towns have implemented spring crop vaccination, of which 8 communes have completed vaccination. The district has directed communes and units to effectively implement forest protection, forest fire prevention and fighting; 120 hectares of forest have been planted in the month. 8 project owners have borrowed capital to build ships in accordance with Decree 67 in 4 communes; 172 small fishing vessels have been certified.

In the month, the total output of exploitation and aquaculture was nearly 4,160 tons, accumulated over 13,460 tons in 4 months, reaching 24.04% of the yearly plan. 28.3 million black tiger shrimps have been produced. Taking care of the clam farms that still have clams, the clam farms after the epidemic are being renovated according to the correct technical process, waiting for favorable conditions to release new clams. In addition, the district has also focused on land clearance for Thach - Thanh - Luong road projects and key projects, focusing on directing contractors to construct and install according to approved designs and drawings and urging slow projects.

At this meeting, Quynh Luu district also gave opinions on other important reports such as the report on the results of implementing the plan to develop and improve the quality of human resources in 2014; the report on the results of 3 years of implementing project 07 of the District Party Committee Executive Committee on implementing resolution 03 of the Provincial Party Committee on building new rural areas in the period of 2011-2020. In particular, it asked for opinions from delegates to contribute to the project on developing tourism in Quynh Luu district in the period of 2016-2020.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Hoang Danh Lai - Chairman of Quynh Luu District People's Committee requested that the tasks set for May 2015, the district needs to focus on building new rural areas, and assign responsibilities to relevant levels and sectors. Together with the Fatherland Front, implement the month for the poor with high results. Direct schools and the district youth union to implement summer activities for children and teenagers. Proactively plan for the high school graduation exam and the entrance exam for grade 10; need solutions to speed up the progress of building national standard schools.
