(Baonghean.vn) - On June 27th, the Department of Education and Training of Anh Son district organized the opening ceremony of a free English language program for disadvantaged students with weak academic performance during the summer.

This time, the Department of Education and Training of Anh Son district organized the opening of free English classes at three schools: Town Primary School, Dinh Son Secondary School, and Linh Son Secondary School. There are 11 classes with nearly 385 students participating.

The children were excited to participate in the class.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the District Department of Education and Training implemented the first lesson for the students, mainly focusing on helping them practice listening, speaking, and pronunciation skills. This is a very meaningful program aimed at consolidating knowledge for students with weak English skills in the 2014-2015 school year, and improving the quality of English learning in schools.

It is understood that in the coming period, the District Department of Education and Training will continue to organize classes at Khai Son Secondary School, Tao Son Secondary School, Tuong Son Secondary School, and Thanh Son Secondary School.

The total number of classes during the summer of 2015 was 22, with nearly 800 students. The total budget for this program was 165 million VND, funded by the district.
